The 31st Annual Juneteenth in the Park Festival will take place Saturday, June 19th & Sunday, June 20th in downtown San Jose at Cesar Chavez Park. It will convene the Bay Area’s largest annual gathering of African-Americans to celebrate the spirit of African American Independence Day in the United States.

This Free event premieres two enjoyable days of great performances of the Bay Area’s best musicians, dancers and fashion designers. This year’s newest feature is the addition of a carnival park in the Kids Expo along with Bounce Houses and other attractions. On Sunday, Church in the Park hosted by Bible Way Christian Center of San Jose will host full church services starting at Noon. The Bay Area’s own, So Timeless, will be the featured headliner on Sunday at 6pm.
